When u go to the salon and get ur nails done where could u find the white coating they put on top?

when u go to the salon i dont know exactly what its called when u get ur nails done they glue the fake nail in the end of your nail and they with a brush they put a little powder and then a liquid wich they put your nail and it kind of blends into the fake and real one well i whant to know where could i get that liquid and the powder they have in salons i wana make my own nails i have everything else i just need that thing. does anyone know where i could find it???When u go to the salon and get ur nails done where could u find the white coating they put on top?

although you can usually buy that stuff at a regular drug store (walgreens, cvs, walmart) it's best to go to a beauty supply store like sally's.


you need to use a brush to mix the acrylic powder with the activating liquid.


the real problem with doing it at home is the lack of the ';power sander'; that they use to even out the surface of the nail once you've applied it.


the power sanders can also be bought at a beauty supply store, but i always just used a really coarse nail file.


if you are hell bent on doing it yourself, i would say go for the electric sander thing... it doesn't take as long and the results are better.
