What is the white stuff on your finger nails? NOT the top part...?

Their not the top part of the fingernail, they're like tiny little dotty specks? Does it mean anything bad and what is it called? What is the white stuff on your finger nails? NOT the top part...?
Medically speaking, those little white marks that sometimes appear as dots or lines on the fingernail are known as leukonychia. There are several possible causes for the discoloration, but the most common are mild trauma, a fungal infection, skin conditions, or nutritional deficiencies. What is the white stuff on your finger nails? Everyone saying it deals with calcium, is wrong.

The ';specks'; on your fingernail are actually small bruises that happen from little things like hitting your fingernail with a hammer. They take 1-2 months to develop, and last anywhere from 3-10 months.
Its where you nail is damaged. I think its called a Cacium Deposit. It can be a sign of a calcium deficiency so boost your calcium and iron supplements to get it to go away.Good luck!
Its actually fingernail bruises, or it can mean your lacking Vitamin K or D i don't remember.
