I have a splinter in my finger nail. I tried soaking it, I can see the top of the splinter but can't grab it.

I even cut my finger nail as far as I could. Is there a way that I can get it out painlessly with out going to the doctor?I have a splinter in my finger nail. I tried soaking it, I can see the top of the splinter but can't grab it.
I always soak it in warm water and some kind of salt even sea salt. keep a little pressure on it by squezzing it and get a pair of tweezers but make sure the very end of the tweezers touch each other and then grab onto it and pull it out. Then wipe it with some alcohol and put a band-aid on it.I have a splinter in my finger nail. I tried soaking it, I can see the top of the splinter but can't grab it.
yes get tweezers or put duct tape on it and pull it out
Try sucking on it. You might be able to get it up just far enough to grab it with a tweezers.
You could try Epsom salt, it's used sometimes to draw out splinters. It's pretty cheap too and has a lot of other good uses. You can find it at any pharmacy, grocery store or any stores that carry first aid items, like band aids, alcohol, etc. usually have it too.
