if you want your nails to shine without the nail polish buffing would work when you paint your nails you should put on a base coat first then the color you want and after that you should put on a top coat of fast finish polish dryer and that will make them shineTo give my nails a ';shiny'; finish... do i buff it prior to painting it.. or do i put a shine coat on top ..?
if you want it really shiny get the four sided buffers from sephora, they're really cheap (http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?鈥?/a> use all the four sides. Then, paint your nails with the color and then, use the top coat as well. It will make your nails verrrrry shiny! Guaranteed
Buffing helps a little because makes your nails super smooth and even and with that kind of nail, the polish reflects the light much better and it looks shinier. However, if you want a super shiny polish, put a shine coat on top.
This is only what I've heard (i.e. no experience):
-buffing your nails shines them, but when you put nail polish on top, you're not going to see your shiny nails
-a top coat is shiny, and it helps your nail polish to last longer
I don't think buffing oyur nails really effects the shine of your polish. Either buy a higher-gloss nail polish or top it with a top coat of clear, shiny nailpolish to increase shine.
1. buff
2. bottom coat
3. color, design, ect.
4. top coat
all the steps 2 perfect nails
buffing only helps with shine if you're not wearing nail varnish, once you put the varnish ontop it makes no differnce
you put on clear polish over the color you want
