let me put my questions in order:
1. Why do white women always get white tips? And not hot designs?
2. Why is it the majority of Asians work in nail salons?
3.What do you think about nail salons? What is over the top?
idk d first q. i think they are pretty good at fixing nails and have created a name for themselves doing it.What do you think about nail salons? What is over the top?
1) In the nail industry, its usually referred to as Pink %26amp; Whites, but there are a couple of other names as well.
I'm not sure what you mean by ';Hot designs?'; If you mean nail art, then there are several types. One is airbrushing, and that is really pretty easy to do. I don't think it looks all that great, unless the tech is really good at doing it. Then it can look OK.
There is also nail art which is created completely by hand, and there really is no limit to what a tech can do with this. There really are a lot of different techniques in nail art. But, there is a huge difference in just doing nail art, and being highly skilled in it. Though many can do a good job, finding a skilled nail artist can be a bit more difficult. Here are some examples of nail art which has been perfected. These designs are absolutely beautiful, and are all done by hand with acrylic. These are exceptionally nice nails. There are 94 pics in all, but you only need to look at like maybe 8-10 to get an idea of what I am talking about:

2) As a whole, the majority of nail techs are not Asian. But that depends, because there are some cities that have more Asian salons than others, and thus, they are the majority in those places. California has a huge percentage of Asian salons.
To answer your question though, I think many become nail techs because when they are get to the U.S., they have to do something for work. And, jobs such as in an office environment usually require a person to be quite fluent in English. This is not the case in the nail industry, and if you have ever been to an Asian salon, then you know that most cannot speak good English at all. In short, its easier to get a job as a nail tech for someone who doesn't speak English very well than it would be for other jobs. And it doesn't require 4 years of school either. Just my opinion.
It is debatable, but I believe that this language barrier tends to cause a lot of problems in these salons. They are commonly referred to as 'discount salons' because the prices are so low. But, to offer such low prices on nail services, there are tradeoffs which must be made to keep the costs down to a minimum. This is not necessarily in the best interests of someone who goes to one of these places to get their nails done.
I advise people to avoid going to these types of salons for many reasons. There are plenty of other good, reputable salons that you can go to, and not have to worry about any health risks, and the nail services are painless, as they always should be. No, it is not normal to experience any kind of pain during, or after your nail services. If this is happening to you, change salons. And, acrylic products do not ruin nails. Unskilled techs ruin nails.
3) Sorry, but I can't answer that one for you :-)
no idea man
lol because asians do nails the best i guess...........WOW I REALLY WANT TO KNOW NOW CUZ IM NOT EVEN SURE!~
White tips? Its called French manicure or pedicure or french tip. Not only white women use this but most who wants simplicity and natural look for a manicure/pedicure uses it and it never goes out of style. It goes well with any fashion of clothes you may wear unlike the other color where it has to compliment with what you are going to wear. I actually like this better than most other colors as well.
Here in Singapore Nail saloons r very common.
Who will see the hot designs on nails when big big bo%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt; r visible easily.
Asians r nails colours lovers
